6 weeks through 12 months → Class Size 6
The first year of life is a critical time for development. Responsive, language-rich attention is essential for the optimal development of your infant and our program is planned to meet this need. Individual schedules, a loving caregiver, a day full of hugs and kisses and slow, leisurely caretaking activities make each day special. The program provides:
Personal Care Plans
Parents and the primary caregiver establish a personal care plan that is continually updated to ensure that care routines are personalized.
Very young babies spend time each day with their primary caregiver. Every sound and movement of the baby is met with a warm response: a word, a smile, a touch that signals, “You are special.”
Open Door for Parents
Teachers understands that the parent-child relationship is primary and parents are encouraged to walk in anytime with ideas, questions, or concerns.
Our curriculum is designed to maximize:
Personal and Social Development:
Forming attachment to teachers and classmates, laughing, exploring, reaching out, imitating
Reading and language play, enjoying and experimenting with sounds, babbling, imitating, responding
Playing, exploring, coordinating movements, tracking, learning that objects have permanence, causing things to happen, pretending
Reaching, grasping, kicking, holding, pulling and standing, creeping and crawling in, out, over, under.
Parents provide all food and bottles until the infant is able to eat Kool Kidz lunches and snacks.
